Cultural Experience I : Industry Insights

Samsung Innovation Museum

Each new technology and product that great inventors and countless electronics companies bring to the world through constant research and innovation has made human life progress.

The invention of radio and television led to the development of mass media, while communication and semiconductor technologies revolutionized the production, distribution, and consumption of information. As such, the electronics industry is the foundation for the development of civilization, and the history of The electronics industry is a record of human challenges and aspirations for new values.

The Samsung Innovation Museum displays and talks about the history and future of such innovation in the electronics industry. Come and learn about the history of the electronics industry in Korea at the Samsung Innovation Museum.

Cultural Experience II : K-Culture Tour

Korean Folk Village

Minsokchon-ro 55beon-gil, Giheung-gu, Youngin-si, Gyeonggi-do

The Korean Folk Village is one of the traditional cultural theme parks in Korea where participants can experience the wisdom of their ancestors. The Korean Folk Village offers houses from different regions of the Joseon Dynasty and experience traditional games and farming tools.

Participants can also learn about traditional culture by walking around in hanbok and visiting exhibitions and traditional workshops that provide an overview of folk culture. Participants will experience the past and present of the Korean folk culture and various traditional arts performances at the Korean Folk Village, and discover new values for the future.

Cultural Experience III : Industry Insights

COEX (Teheran-ro)

513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

The name of Teheran-ro was derived from the city of Teheran. When the mayor of Teheran visited Korea in June 1977 and stayed in Seoul, it was decided to change the name of one place in Seoul and one place in Teheran City, one by one, for celebrating the establishment of diplomatic relations. Samneung-ro was changed to Teheran-ro.

With this history, Teheran-ro has become home to many IT companies, forming the Teheran Valley. Participants will walk through the streets of Teheran-ro with its colorful skyscrapers, visit COEX, the center of Korean trade, and have special experiences at its landmark, the Byeolmadang Library.
